Difference Between Office 2013 and Office 365

Difference Between Office 2013 and Office 365

The incredibly popular Microsoft products keep on evolving and they don’t seem to have any desire of stopping. These last few years, it has been really hard to keep up with everything that Microsoft has been up to, since they have been up to a lot. One of the products that evolved a lot if Microsoft Office. There have been so many changes, that even experts struggle to keep up.

Microsoft Office Package

Microsoft always had a few amazing products on the Office package, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, but there are other that aren’t really used a lot, but still worth a lot if they are used properly. Recently, after the release of Windows 8, Microsoft got Office 2013 and Office 365 out there, and these have sparked a lot of confusion.

The thing about these two is that the name is incredibly similar and, on top of that, they pretty much look the same thing at first sight, since they do both include Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as some other apps that have different utilities included in them, but that aren’t as popular as these three.

Updates That Matter

We can see Office 2013 as the latest update of Office 2010, but Office 365 is a different thing that isn’t that hard to tell apart once we actually look at the true differences that exist between one and the other product. These are good for different purposes, and some people can see themselves with Office 2013 a lot better than they can see themselves with Office 365.

Increasing Productivity

Essentially, Office 2013 is a productivity tool. You have apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint that are going to help you make your work and get things done, something that has been with us for years and that will keep on being. With Office 2013, you are just going to get a few more updates and tricks to use when you compare it to Office 2010.

When you pay for Office 2013, it is yours. You are free to own it and to install it on your PC so that you can freely work on it and improve your productivity to points that you never imagined were possible. You can only, however, install Office 2013 in one single computer and as such, if you use more than one computer to work, you are only going to have this amazing productivity tool installed in one of these computers, while the other one will be sitting on the simple Notepad.

Purchasing Differences

On the other hand, Office 365 is a little bit different, both in the form of payment and in what is included in the software itself. When you buy Office 365, you are going to get the simple productivity tools, but then you are also going to get email space, shared calendars, storage space and even the ability to make and to edit documents online.

When it comes to the payment, there is a huge difference between Office 2013 and Office 365, it might actually be the biggest difference between these two. While you buy Office 2013 one time and then own it after that so that you can install it and work with it on your computer, Office 365 isn’t something that you purchase and then own. If you buy Office 365, you are buying a subscription for it that lasts a determined amount of time, depending on the deal you paid for.

You can use Office 365 and all of its advantages while you are in the period which you paid for, but after this period ends, you either pay for it again or you are going to lose the ability to edit your documents and this means that you are just going to be halted until you pay again – either that or you use notepad again.

You will still be able to view your documents however, so if you need to print them or to check something you are good to go, but if you actually need to get some work done and if you need to edit your documents, you will need to pay again.

Office 365 comes in a lot of ways and essentially it is going to be very useful for everyone that purchases the right package, as long as they pay for it, that is. Some of these packages even include everything that Office 2013 has and a little bit more (including Skype calls), but with the difference being that these packages are all still subscription services and not something that you can buy and own it yourself.

The best advantage that Office 365 has over Office 2013, however, is that it can be used in several computers for the same price. For just $9,99 a month, or $99 a year, you are able to have Office 365 up and running on up to five computers and this means that if you use a lot of computers while you work, you are going to have them all covered with the service.

Recently, Microsoft has also been releasing packages for Office 2013 so that they can suit the needs of its target audience a lot, lot better. Some of these are home versions, others are premium home versions and there are even business and university versions. The difference in these resides in the price and in the apps that you are going to get after you purchase the software. At least, it’ll be yours.

Difference Between 1080i and 720p

Difference Between 1080i and 720p

Back in the days we just used to watch our videos at will and no one really cared about resolution except for the people that actually needed to care about that. Ever since high definition (HD) came into play, things got a little different. All of a sudden, we are now able to control the quality of our videos, and the different is just incredibly big.

It’s In The Name

To understand the difference between 1080i and 720p we need to understand the difference between the i and p in these two. The i in the 1080i represents interlaced, while the p in the 720p represents progressive. The difference between these two is pretty much like the difference between night and day.

Even though they both give you the image you want, they do it in different ways. While interlaced images are essentially two images rapidly exchanging in front of your eyes to give you the video you want to see, the progressive image is something that is always in front of you, it is there.

Interlaced images are essentially lines, both vertical and horizontal, that exist. One of the images has horizontal lines and other one has vertical lines. Then, these two keep on exchanging so fast in front of your eyes that you are unable to perceive this change, but it is happening. As such, you get the video you want in front of you.

Progressive image, on the other hand, is something that is always there in front of you, it is the real image. There is no change going on in front of you and, as such, you get a better image quality.

You can detect interlaced images if you have a fast moving object on screen. The movement of the object is going to be detected with some blurry lines with the shape and color of the object around it – this is the change occurring right in front of you. If you see a moving object on a progressive image, you won’t be able to see these lines.

What The Numbers Mean

The number right before the letter simple refers to the number of lines that the image has. Quite obviously, the bigger the number, the better the quality of the video you are going to get. More lines mean that the amount of detail and focus is going to improve significantly.

As such, 1080i means that you have 1080 lines worth of interlaced image going on in front of you, while 720p means that you are going to have 720 lines worth of progressive image in front of you. Even though 720p has a smaller amount of lines when compared to 1080i, it is believed that the image quality is better due to the fact that it is progressive.

Difference Between iPad Air and iPad Retina

Difference Between iPad Air and iPad Retina

In the modern day era we need to keep on adjusting to new technologies over and over again because they keep on evolving way harder than what we needed to keep up with back in the day. This means that sometimes it is hard to tell what is a good purchase and what is a bad purchase, especially when it comes to light mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads. These just keep on evolving and we can barely handle it.

As such, we need to look at the options and consider them properly in order to identify the best purchase. In this article, we are going to help you look at two options: iPad Air and iPad retina. iPad Air is a newer more expensive alternative when we look at both these devices, but does the difference make up for it?

iPad Air vs iPad Retina

The first we identify is that the iPad Air is lighter. To be more specific, it is 100g lighter than the iPad retina. This means that it is a device with a lot more mobility, as well as a smaller screen surround that came from inspiration drawn from the iPad mini. For people that actually enjoyed the iPad mini, this is a full version of it, and that is certainly worth considering already.

iPad air is less than 7.5mm thick, and it doesn’t even weight 500g, it weights 469g. This makes it a lot more compact and mobile than the iPad retina, and that, in itself, is a serious advantage worth looking at.

Other than that, the iPad Air has a faster processor, it has a 64-bit processor. But then again, this doesn’t necessarily mean that it is better than the iPad retina. The device uses a new Apple chip called the A7, and it is designed to make it match the power of the iPhone 5S. But the tablet needs to work with a lot more pixels than the iPhone 5S, and as such, it probably has a little more power.

The A7 64-bit chip doesn’t make its powers appear for a while until you really start taking advantage of the device and using it like you mean it. But it is, however, better than the 322bit chip that is used on the iPad retina and as such, this means that you will get a better gaming experience on the iPad Air due to a better performance and due to better graphics.

This, however doesn’t mean a lot to most people, since most people like to do their gaming on their computer or on their smartphones (when they’re really bored) and like to use the tablet to work and for other types of entertainment such as watching movies and surfing the web.

Screen Size

When it comes to the screen, both tablets have pretty much the same size and appearance, and when it comes to the performance of the screen, they are also equally matched. The iPad retina already had a great screen with proper contrast and color reproduction, so it comes as no surprise to acknowledge that the iPad Air is pretty much the same thing on this field.

Again, this makes both tablets amazing for entertainment. Sharing a movie on these devices is certainly going to give you and your partner a great experience. And if you own or are thinking about owning one of these, you should understand that when it comes to the scree, the competitors are starting to catch up on Apple. Google Nexus 7.2 has a 7 inch HD screen that puts these two on their toes.

Both tablets use the iOS 7 and share the same software as the iPhone 5S. They are both going to have the same feeling for the user, and the only difference that you are going to feel is that there are some games that are discontinued for ‘older’ tablets and that focus on the newer models. These will, in time, start lacking support and a community in itself for older version such as for the iPad retina.

Finally, the last advantage that the iPad Air has over the iPad retina is when it comes to taking pictures. We all like to capture the moments we live and share them with others, and for that we need as good a camera as possible in order to capture the feeling we have at that time to the best extent possible.

The iPad Air has a better camera, improved with the latest technology. They both have a 5 megapixel sensor, but the processing technology of the sensor has been improved on the iPad Air, which renders a better quality on the image when the photo is taken. There is, however, still no flash on the camera, and that is going to affect a lot of users.

The final difference, at the end of the day, is the price. An iPad retina costs $329, and the iPad Air costs $399. That is a $70 difference and you need to take into consideration that even though the iPad Air has a lot of advantages, these are all minor advantages that won’t really make any difference in your daily life. As such, you need to ask yourself whether or not the $70 are worth spending for a newer model. The biggest difference is the weight and, if you don’t mind the little weight advantage of the iPad retina, then it is probably the best alternative if you want to save some money.

Difference Between Hulu and Netflix

Difference Between Hulu and Netflix

Two of the best options available today for streaming movies and TV shows are Hulu and Netflix. The question is – what’s the difference? Well, the content library for one.

Netflix vs Hulu

Netflix gives you the most choice in terms of movies and lots of older version TV shows. Hulu Plus gives you a bigger collection of current TV shows with less of a choice for movies. Your selection is definitely a matter of personal choice, as both of them run you $7.99 a month. They both feature apps that will play on a broad range of devices like Xbox or Smart TVs.

What Do They Offer?

The following chart is a break-down of many ways these two differ. We’ll use HP for Hulu Plus and NET for Netflix.

HP – Mainly current season TV shows and Video on Demand.
NET – Blu-ray disc and DVD rentals, Mainly older TV shows and Movies, Video on Demand.

Library Size:
HP – Nearly 2,500 movies and about 1,650 TV shows.
NET – Nearly 100,000 TV shows and movies.

HP – $7.99 a month for basic service, which doesn’t include all shows.
NET – $8 for streaming in standard definition, $9 to stream 2 simultaneously in HD, and $12 for streaming on 4 at a time. DVD by mail costs $8 a month, and an additional $2 for the Blue-ray discs.

HP – Nearly 3 million as of 2012. The amount of free content viewers is not known.
NET – Around 30 million as of 2013, with 7.75 million international subscribers.

HP – Yes.

Video Quality:
HP – 288p/360p/480p. Now and then there is 720p HD.
NET – Tier 1 DVD Quality. Tier 2 Above DVD Quality. Tier 3 720p. Tier 4 1080p.

When TV Shows Become Available:
HP – Within 24 hours of airing on TV.
NET – Only after a season has ended and a new season begins.

Audio Quality:\
HP – Stereo
NET – Dolby Digital 5.1

Year Founded:
HP – 2007
NET – 1997

HP – $695 million as of 2012.
NET – $3.6 Billion as of 2012.

Difference in the Content Library:
Hulu does have a decent movie choice but is mainly known for having TV shows along with trailers, interviews, and related clips. The reason this works so well is because it enables them to release episodes in a hurry, usually within 24 hours of it airing. It delivers shows from many different networks like such as ABC, NBC, USA Network, Syfy, E!, ION Television, Brave, Oxygen, Fox, A&E, and more. Hulu has also created more than a dozen of their own original series, like ‘A Day in the Life’, ‘Up to Speed’, ‘Spoilers’, and more.

Content Library

It is here in the Content Library that Netflix really shines. It has a lot more depth to its library, with more available TV shows and movies than HP. The drawback to their TV shows as opposed to HP is not broadcasting one until a year or so after the season ends, whereas HP can do this in about a day. Netflix had to find a way to offset this shortcoming, so they came up with some original programming of their own by reviving shows like ‘House of Cards’, ‘Orange is the New Black’, and ‘Arrested Development’.

While these ball park figures may not be exact, it is believed that Hulu Plus has a library that features over 2,500 movies and 43,000 TV episodes (1650 shows). Netflix, on the other hand, features more than 100,000 titles. That’s a much larger library than their competition.

When it comes to the International audience, Hulu usually carries a few International shows, usually from Canada or the UK. It features Korean dramas as well.

Netflix overs a much broader variety of foreign TV series and movies, like ‘Downton Abbey’, ‘Being Human’, or ‘Lilyhammer’.

Compatibility with Today’s Devices

If you want to browse the Hulu website and are using Apple products (like ipads), you are out of luck. The reason is their use of Flash. Hulu members still get a nice variety of platforms on which to watch their shows, like TiVo, Apple TV, Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo 3DS, and Blu-ray players. Hulu does have an app for iTunes that enables Apple users to bypass the Flash being used on the website, that uses HTML5 video instead, and is compatible.

Most Subscribers

Since June of 2014 HP has recorded around 8.5 million subscribers, while NET has more than 50 million globally. It has also been confirmed as of November of 2014 that Netflix is going to be available in both New Zealand and Australia by March of 2015.

Most Common Considerations

The way most people are going to look at these two competitors is by pricing, ads, and movie and TV show availability (content library). Hulu has a FREE service, but it’s supported by ads. HP will run you $7.99 a month and gives you more options for viewing content on apps designed for tablets and smartphones. A big drawback here is that even their premium service gets supported by ads. Their TV shows are interrupted by ads but their movies are not. Only one screen can be streamed at one time.

Netflix runs you $7.99 a month as well, but it gives you unlimited streaming with the basic plan, but only one screen in standard definition at at time. With the $8.99 monthly plan you can stream 2 screens at once and get upgrades to High Definition. If you want to stream up to 4 screens at a time, you have to upgrade to the $11.99 monthly plan.

That should be plenty of information for making a decision about which movie streaming giant will work best for you. There are pros and cons to each side, so again, it boils down you personal preference.

Difference Between Kindle Fire HD 7 and 8.9

Difference Between Kindle Fire HD 7 and 8.9

Amazon Kindle eBooks have been on the rise ever since they were launched into the market. Not only has the audience been growing more and more, the number of authors that want to grab those amazing first places also keep on rising to incredible extents.

In order to make the most out of these amazing eBooks, you will need an platform so that you can read them properly. Amazon knows this and this why we have Amazon Kindle Fire. In this article, we’re looking at Kindle Fire 7 and at Kindle Fire 8.9 in order to find out the differences between them.

Kindle Fire 8.9

The first big difference we can identify in these two devices is the screen size. While Kindle Fire 7 has a 7 inch screen size, the latest Kindle Fire has an 8.9 inch screen size. Needless to say, this is obviously going to improve the user’s experience while reading an .

On top of that, Kindle Fire 8.9 has a higher screen resolution and processor, which should in turn get a better quality display on the screen itself. But at the end of the day the quality display isn’t too different between one and the other, and your decision should be done according to screen size and not quality.

Currently, the difference between these two when it comes to price is merely $70, and that is certainly not worth it if you are just going to use the device to read some sweet eBooks, but if you are going to watch a lot of videos as well, it is probably better to go the extra mile and to go for Kindle Fire 8.9.

Kindle Fire HD 7

The Kindle Fire 8.9 weights 567g, while the Kindle Fire 7 weights only 394g. This might not look like much, but after a few hours of reading you are certainly going to notice the difference. On top of that, the Kindle Fire 7 lacks 3G or 4G connectivity, so it can only access the through Wi-Fi, and people don’t always have the ability to connect to Wi-Fi.

At the end of the day, we believe that you should choose the one that is going to fit your needs properly. If you are just in it for reading a lot of kindle eBooks, than you are probably better off with the Kindle Fire 7, but if you also going to be enjoying some videos with the device, it is probably better to spend some extra $70 in order to get the best possible Kindle Fire experience.

Apart from these differences, there is really nothing noticeable between these two devices,, at least nothing that a user would notice on the long term, so it is probably not even worth mentioning.

Difference Between Samsung 840 and 840 Pro

Difference Between Samsung 840 and 840 Pro

An incredibly precious part of a computer is the SSD (Solid -State Drive), which, essentially, stores data on the computer itself, is very precious and users and companies alike keep on realizing this more and more.

This is why companies keep on evolving in what they do regarding the SSD, and as time goes by, we see an improvement on these. But since they are improving so fast, it is actually necessary for people to be able to know what is going on in the market so that they can make an informed decision.

As such, in this article, we are looking at the differences between two SSD’s: Samsung 840 and Samsung 840 Pro. These pretty much look like the same thing, but they are not. Quite clearly, these two are improvements when we consider the Samsung 830 series.

Samsung 840 SSD

A Samsung 840 SSD can come in a lot of ways, but all of them have a TLC flash memory that has lower write endurance when compared to other types of SSD’s. This means that their program/ erase cycles (PE) aren’t going to last as long as the others by comparison, but depending on the Samsung 840 you have, they can still last longer than others.

The program/ erase cycle dictates how long the SSD can last before it is unable to retain information anymore. Samsung realizes this and, as such, the Samsung 840 comes with a three year warranty while the 840 Pro comes with a five year warranty, because it is likelier to last longer due to the write endurance performance.

For the average user, however, the lack of lasting write endurance on the Samsung 840 SSD should not be a problem at all. Even if a user writes and rewrites about of data on a daily basis (and this is already a pretty big amount), a Samsung 840 is still going to last around.

Samsung 840 Pro

It is clear that there are other components on a computer that are going to be unreliable, even before the SSD. The Samsung 840 Pro is a general improvement for the Samsung 840 and as such, if you write and rewrite a lot of data and expect to keep your computer for a lot of time, you should probably go for the Samsung 840 Pro.

To summarize, the Samsung 840 series were the best out there in the market when they came out, but are now getting high competition coming from other companies. They are still pretty great and more than enough for the average user but if you want to go the extra mile, you should opt for the Samsung 840 Pro in order to make the most out of your PC.

Difference Between XM and Sirius

Difference Between XM and Sirius

As the average radio listener, it is not really your job to know the difference between Sirius and XM satellite radio, but you probably wish to know it because you have heard a lot about both, but don’t understand the real difference. People talk about this amazing show on XM, but then they talk about this amazing entertainment on Sirius, and you’re in the middle wondering about it all.

Well, wonder no more. In this article, we’re going to tell you the difference between Sirius and XM. Back in the day, these two were competing services and they had a lot of differences that really got listeners choosing between one and the other.

Nowadays these two have merged into SiriusXM and as such, their differences were significantly reduced to the point at which it is mostly about hardware right now. This, of course, still has a lot of people confused.

What Are The Differences Between the Two?

The main difference between Sirius and XM can be found in their specific programming packages. Their “All Access” packages can be pretty much the same but their lower level packages differ to greater extents. Picking between the lower level packages can be tough, since these two have some great differences and it’s all up to the listeners taste.

When choosing between Sirius and XM, you’ll need to account for three main factors: Music, Sports and just regular radio talk. If you are a fan of alternative music and don’t really like the mainstream, XM is the way to go. They have great libraries and they are probably the go to service for those music store guys that know every song ever. Sirius takes care of mainstream music, and most great artist have their own channel on it.

When it comes to sports, you will only like XM is you are a fan of baseball or hockey, since they offer greater coverage of these two. For other sports like soccer, football and even basketball Sirius is the way to go.

On radio talk the issue gets a little harder. For example, Sirius has BBC, Playboy and Howard Stem, but on the other hand, XM has Oprah Winfrey and Opie – that’s a tough choice, if you ask me.

At the end of the day, it is all a matter of preference. Both companies offer a 3 day trial online and we suggest that you use it in order to listen to some of the channels these two have so that you can make a decision according to what will be the best for you.

Only you can tell which one of these companies better suits your preferences but one thing is for sure: one of them will be able to suit them properly.

Difference Between Photoshop Elements and Photoshop

Difference Between Photoshop Elements and Photoshop

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have probably heard about Photoshop by now, and if you actually visit the Internet on a daily basis, you have certainly had the chance to see the amazing things that can be done with Photoshop.

Photoshop Explained

The image manipulating tool is so incredibly complex and useful that people have actually managed to trick millions of others with manipulated Photoshop images. But since the tool is quite complex, only a small amount of people actually manage to master it entirely. Since the company knows this, they have also created a tool that is a lot easier to master.

Adobe has created Photoshop Elements, which is a much cheaper and simpler version of Photoshop itself that allows the “average Joe” to be able to manipulate his images to a certain degree.

Currently, Photoshop is for sale at $699 if your purchase it at Adobe, and clearly not everyone is going to go ahead and buy this tool just so that they can spend hours upon hours understanding that they know nothing about using it. Photoshop elements, on the other hand, is for sale at a much more affordable price, which is $79.

Clearly, Photoshop is a tool that is intended for the professional market. $699 for a professional that makes a living with the tool is clearly nothing, but for a person that makes a living in any other way, this is a huge price. The tool itself has incredible advantages that people can take advantage of, provided they actually know how to do it.

There are cheap ways to get the high price of Photoshop down. For example, students can actually manage to get an 80% discount on the product, if they manage to go through the process properly. They might need it to study, if image manipulation is their craft.

Photoshop Elements Explained

On the other hand, Photoshop Elements has a lot less tools compared to Photoshop itself, but the tools that it lacks are the most advanced tools that the amateur user would probably not care about. It does, however, have some other tools that require a lot less skill from the user.

Among these tools, we can find tools to automatically reduce the red-eyes that appear in pictures, automatically tone the skin, and automatic light adjustment. These tools are incredibly simple to use, and as such any amateur can actually “master” them with just a bit of practice.

Essentially, if you are not a professional that needs Photoshop for an intended long-term purpose, you are probably better off using Photoshop Elements, the cheaper alternative version of the real deal that is specifically intended for amateur usage, with tools that will make your life a lot easier when compared to the complex tools of Photoshop.

Difference Between Jailbreak and Unlock

Difference Between Jailbreak and Unlock

When it comes to smartphones, there is often a fair bit of confusion as to what a jailbreak entails, as opposed to an unlock. The trickiest part for most is sorting through all of the nerdy jargon that their more tech savvy are throwing at them and understanding the difference between a jailbreak and an unlock in layman’s terms.

The easiest way to break down the differences between the two is to start at the very beginning. If a person purchases an iPhone, they may wish to alter their firmware. This allows your iPhone to begin running codes that are unsigned and increases your access to files, so that you can sidestep Apple’s policies.

Performing a jailbreak on an iPhone used to be illegal in the United States until very recently. One of the primary reasons people wish to jailbreak their iPhone is to gain access to additional application installers that Apple does not provide. Third party applications are not always available through Apple’s App Store are able to be installed after a successful jailbreak.

Thanks to the restrictions of Apple, there a number of apps that are not able to be installed on a freshly purchased iPhone. Most customers are of the belief that the phone becomes their property as soon as they make the purchase and do not care for these kinds of rules and regulations.

Jailbreaking Your Phone

The jailbreak of an iPhone gives the user far more options as far as customizing their graphics setup. They can also install their own custom themes. Tethering becomes free after a jailbreak and if there are apps out there that do not meet the Apple criteria (which happens for a variety of reasons, both moral and immoral), then you can download them much more easily.

However, it is important to note that an iPhone that has experienced a jailbreak is unable to be covered by warranty. When you purchase the phone from Apple, you are essentially agreeing to leave the phone as is, or forfeit your right to an inexpensive replacement, should something happen to it.

A jailbreak is easy to perform and can be handled by just about anyone with any level of computer or smartphone literacy. If you need to bring your phone to the Apple store and you do not want them to know that you performed your own jailbreak, you can simply launch iTunes on the phone and restore the factory settings from there.

Unlocking Your Phone

Unlocking, on the other hand, is a much different process from the jailbreak. When an iPhone is purchased, it comes with certain restrictions on modem that maintain the SIM carrier. When you wish to eliminate these SIM restrictions so that you can use your iPhone on any carrier, it is time for an unlock.

There is no modification being made to your phone, which makes it much different from a jailbreak. All that an unlock does is allow the user to use their iPhone on a different cell phone carrier. It should be noted that there are two types of unlocking tactics, however.

An iPhone unlock takes place in either the software or the hardware. A software unlock is much less intensive and does not alter the makeup of the phone. During a hardware unlock, there are modifications made to the hardware setup of the phone and it takes much more effort and skill.

A software unlock is considered to be a lot safer because the phone can simply be reverted back to its original form, should there be any sort of issues. Software unlocking can typically be done for free, at a person’s home, whereas a hardware unlock is usually done by a professional, for a negotiated fee.

iPhones are unlocked for two main reasons. One, the aforementioned ability to switch cell phone carriers without punishment. Secondly, an unlocked iPhone has a much resale value on the open market than one that is not. Customers prefer having the option to choose their carrier, as opposed to having one selected for them.

Ironically, an unlock cannot be performed until a jailbreak has taken place, which is the only way these two methods intertwine. Otherwise, they are both very dissimilar and aim to achieve goals that are entirely different.

The one key similarity between the jailbreak and the unlock for iPhone is that they can each be restored to their factory settings under the correct circumstances. A jailbreak can always be reversed by plugging the phone into a computer and changing the settings in your iTunes. The same goes from an unlock, although it can be more challenging to restore your original factory settings after a hardware unlock, as opposed to software.

As you can see, the differences between an iPhone jailbreak and an iPhone are numerous and each action is performed with a completely different objective in mind. A jailbreak is done by a customer who wishes to access far more applications than they would be able to under normal circumstances and increases the ability to customize their phone in a preferred manner.

An unlock is necessary for iPhone users who do not wish to be tethered to the same cell phone carrier for the life of the device and those who are aiming for the highest possible resale value when it is time to trade in (or up). While each of these methods are very different, they are both performed with one key idea in mind: complete and total cell phone freedom.

Difference Between Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus

Difference Between Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus

Nowadays people want to have a healthy life at all costs, and that just means that businesses are going to help people achieve that – for a price, that is. While it isn’t too hard to just go out and run on a daily basis in order to burn calories, this requires a lot of mental strength and motivation, which is hard to get, honestly.

A lot of companies know this but Nintendo decided to go the extra mile and created a video game that allows players to get healthy while playing it. Obviously, this had a lot of success and as such, later on, Nintendo launched a second version of this game. We are, of course, talking about Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus.

The Wii Fit

Nintendo’s Wii Fit was launched in late 2007, and so far it has sold over 22.67 million copies worldwide, which makes it the third best-selling console video game. The game itself uses a unique platform designed for it called the Wii Balance Board.

Players use the Wii Balance Board in order to play the game. They stand on it during the exercise as they play the game. In the game, there are exercises that include balance, yoga, strength training and aerobics, which means that if a player goes through all of these regularly, he is bound to get fit eventually.

According to the creator of the game, this is a way to get families to exercise together. It had such a success that Wii Fit has been used for rehabilitation, it has been used by a lot of health clubs worldwide and, finally, it has also been used in nursing homes to help improve the posture of the elderly.

The Wii Fit Plus

On the other hand, we have Wii Fit Plus. The game itself covers everything that Wii Fit already covers, but it has a few more advantages to it. It has 15 new aerobics exercises, as well as six new yoga and strength training exercises. As if that wasn’t enough ,it also has new features such as a calorie burning counter and the ability to create custom regimens for people who want to go at their own speed.

Finally, people can now create profiles for pets and for babies, with the ability to navigate through exercise faster so that they won’t have to wait a lot of time while waiting for the console, stopping their bodies from cooling down too much.

The Wii Balance Board is exactly the same one for both consoles, so there is no need to purchase a new one if you are going to upgrade from Wii Fit to Wii Fit Plus. In the game, most exercises are for one single player, but it does have activities that reach up to 8 players.
