If you don’t require 60 fps videos then this feature wouldn’t matter since both can shoot high definition videos. The performance of D5200 in low light conditions is better since it has an ISO boost of up to 25,600 compared to just 12,800 of D3200. D5200 has built-in HDR, a flip out screen and 39 focus points. D3200 doesn’t have HDR, flip out screen and it has only 11 focus points.

Those who have used the D5200 and the D3200 rate the image quality of the former as around 10% better than that of the latter. The D5200 is more dynamic, it shoots faster while capturing images at 5 fps compared to 4 fps of D3200.

The price difference is not so significant and you can make a choice solely based on the specs that you get and which one would suit your needs.
