Samsung is a company that keeps on making smartphones for pretty much everyone. They aim for every demographic with phones that pretty much cover every possible necessity that a person can have. In this article, we are looking at the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and the Samsung Galaxy S4.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 was pretty much one of the strongest and most advanced devices released in 2013. The smartphone could do a lot more than what computers could do just a few years ago, but then Samsung Galaxy S4 Active was released and it was even better.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is just a little bit taller and a little bit thicker when compared to Samsung Galaxy S4 itself, but this doesn’t matter a lot since the difference is minimal. It also weights a little bit more, but nothing that is going to make your hand feel tired after using it a lot.
Screen and Hardware
Both of these phones have an incredible 1080p 5-inch screen that works wonders. If you want to see a video in high quality and see some great eye candy, both these phones are going to deliver it properly, even though Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has a little bit better of a Pixel per Inch density, which makes it better, but the difference is just microscopic.
Both these devices have a 2 GB RAM memory in them, and both of these have the same type of wireless technology, so there is no real difference in these two topics. There is a difference, however, when it comes to the camera that is on the smartphones. While Samsung Galaxy S4 has a 13 MP rear camera, and a 2 MP front camera, the rear camera of Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has just 8 MP, while the front camera is equal.
What Makes the Active Different?
The big thing about Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is that it is made for people that are going to be on the move and that are going to be facing harsh conditions throughout their daily lives. Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is actually waterproof and a little more resistant than the normal S4. This means that it is a niche phone: it is aimed at hikers, runners, extreme sports enthusiasts and so on. This is the major difference between these two and if you are just looking for an amazing phone, the regular Samsung Galaxy S4 is more than enough.
